Preorder terms

A preorder reserves one Crouton v1 board per unit ordered from our first production run. Crouton is still in development. You are paying now for hardware that does not exist yet, and you should treat that as a real risk before ordering.

$99.00 AUD per board, charged in full when you place the order. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. No GST is charged.

We expect to ship in Q4 2026. That is our honest estimate based on the current build, not a guarantee.

If the date moves, we will email everyone who has ordered, tell you the new window and why, and you can take a full refund at that point for any reason. We will not quietly let the date slip.

You can cancel for a full refund at any time before your board ships. Email us and we will refund the full amount to your original payment method. You do not need to give a reason.

After your board arrives, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply in the usual way, including for faulty goods. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights.

The first run ships within Australia only. We collect your shipping address at checkout. If you move before dispatch, email us and we will update it.

If we are unable to ship Crouton v1 at all, every preorder is refunded in full. Preorder funds are used to complete development and manufacturing, so a refund in that situation may take time to process, but the obligation stands.
